Pierre Ferrand 1975 Collection Privé Cognac is an award-winning vintage eaux-de-vie that has its roots in the year 1975 and comes from the best terroir of the Cognac region; Grande Champagne. The year 1975 was one that showed four distinct seasons. A remarkably mild winter led to a pleasantly cool spring followed by a hot and sunny summer that gave the grapes the necessary maturity to produce this aromatic and well-balanced Cognac.
Long maturation, mostly in humid cellars, has enhanced the richness of this unique vintage. Meanwhile, the nose reveals an elegant, perfectly balanced vintage eau-de-vie with initial hints of fruit that gradually evolve towards rancio notes. On the palate, notes of exotic wood move towards spice flavors and retain a great deal of freshness.
