Description
A Vintage Distiller Reserve Cognac from the Petite Champagne terroir
For this edition of a Philbert Cognac, brother Xavier distills in Etriac of the Petite Champagne. The result is the innovative Philbert Distiller Reserve Petite Champagne Cognac. Here, wines are carefully distilled to get as much purity as possible. No lees have been used for these particularly delicate eaux-de-vie, in order to maintain the light fruit and floral aromas. This is a Vintage Cognac from 2012, bottled in 2015 and 2016, and it has been matured for 3 years and finished in used French cask for a few months.
Xavier’s talents allow for complete finesse over the grape wine from the Petite Champagne; this Distiller Reserve Cognac is fresh and luxurious in flavor and aroma.
Cognac Philbert is a single estate brand that is home to two on-site distilleries, with vineyards in both the Grande and Petite Champagne. Their Cognacs are handcrafted using the greatest savoir-faire.
How to serve
Enjoy this Cognac neat to allow the exotic flavors to develop on the nose and tongue.
