Description

Michel Forgeron Folle Blanche 2010 Cognac

A Grande Champagne creation, the Michel Forgeron Folle Blanche 2010 Cognac is comprised of eaux-de-vie from the finest region of the Cognac. Aged for 10 years in French oak barrels, in the cellars of Domaine Michel Forgeron. It has been patiently reduced by adding distilled water to be offered at 47 degrees of alcohol. The result of this craft is a Cognac with a round, greedy and spicy palate leaving a pleasant reflection on the finish.

Released in 1977, Michel Forgeron is one of the younger brands in the region. The Forgeron family still manages the estate, living by Michel’s credo ‘work hard, produce better’. Priding themselves on practices that are sustainable and responsible in development, each creation aims to replenish the planet. Showcasing just how expertly they are able to “produce better”, the Folle Blanche 2010 Cognac is a wonderful balance of a smooth spice that every Cognac lover will appreciate.

Presentation of the bottle

This cognac boasts a charming display with its traditional simplicity. Sepia tones and swirl type outline the contents with a nod to the house’s history. A classic wooden top finishes the display with effortless appeal. Representing its environmentally-friendly efforts, it boasts an earthy element that offers an understated representation of brilliance.

How to enjoy

This rich fragrance of this Cognac deserves to be enjoyed neat. You might like to add a drop of water to entice the zesty aromatic essence to the surface.

About Michel Forgeron

Michel Forgeron Cognac’s uniqueness lies in its very special history, its environmental concern and of course in its quest for quality. With a relatively young history, the first cognac under the brand Michel Forgeron was produced in 1977. Their philosophy remains the same as his grandfather’s, who bought the agricultural property at the turn of the century: work better, produce better. Recently, for its hundred year anniversary, Forgeron covered one of the estate’s roofs with solar panels in order to work with sustainable energies for the cognac production.
