Description
A masterpiece that has the perfect blend of taste and quality produced from the prestigious Grande Champagne terroir
The Michel Forgeron Barrique 91 Cognac is from the Michel Forgeron "Barrique" Collection crafted with Ugni Blanc white grapes.
'Barrique', meaning 'barrel' in English signifies that this is a very special Cognac indeed. Going through a long and delicate aging process, it has been matured for almost 30 years in French oak barrels, and it is patiently reduced with distilled water until it reaches 47% ABV. The combination of taste, aroma, and power is perfectly balanced in the mouth.
The Cognac, like all Michel Forgeron Cognacs - the Michel Forgeron Barrique 91 Cognac comes from the terrain of Grande Champagne or otherwise known as the most prestigious terroir of the Cognac production area.
How To Serve
To enjoy the Cognac, we suggest that you appreciate the Cognac by serving them at room temperature or slightly cooler preferably in a glass "Tulip".
Presentation of The Decanter
A traditional, sleek tasting bottle of 500ml that will be an authentic addition to any collection. It also comes in a bespoke Forgeron presentation sleeve.
Heritage of Michel Forgeron
Michel Forgeron Cognac’s uniqueness lies in its very special history, its environmental concern and of course in its quest for quality. With a relatively young history, the first cognac under the brand Michel Forgeron was produced in 1977. Their philosophy remains the same as his grandfather’s, who bought the agricultural property at the turn of the century: work better, produce better.
Recently, for its hundred year anniversary, Forgeron covered one of the estate’s roofs with solar panels in order to work with sustainable energies for the cognac production.
