Description
One of Michel Forgeron Special Brut de Fut Selection of Cognac
The Michel Foregon Barrique 79 Cognac is a rare treat that every Cognac fan should get to experience. The word "Barrique" translates to barrels in English, signifying that this very special Cognac has been aged for more than 40 years in French oak barrels.
It has been stored in the cellars of the Blacksmith estate without any additives, and alcohol content of 54% naturally. Like all Michel Forgeron Cognacs - the Michel Forgeron Barrique 79 Cognac comes from the terrain of Grande Champagne, otherwise known as the most prestigious terrain of the Cognac production area.
How To serve
As this is a very exquisite Cognac, we suggest that you appreciate the Cognac by serving them at room temperature or slightly cooler - but no less than 17 degrees Celsius, and preferably in a tulip glass. You can also enjoy the drink while enjoying a cigar.
Presentation of The decanter
This Cognac arrives in a nice, sleek bottle with a round neck and is closed with a cork.
Heritage of Michel Forgeron
Michel Forgeron Cognac’s uniqueness lies in its very special history, its environmental concern and of course in its quest for quality. With a relatively young history, the first Cognac under the brand Michel Forgeron was produced in 1977.
Their philosophy remains the same as his grandfather’s, who bought the agricultural property at the turn of the century: work better, produce better.
Recently, for its hundred year anniversary, Forgeron covered one of the estate’s roofs with solar panels in order to work with sustainable energies for the Cognac production.
