Description
Maxime Trijol Vintage 1972 Petite Champagne Cognac
A beautifully harmonious Cognac from the single vintage year of 1972. Maxime Trijol 1972 Petite Champagne Vintage Cognac is produced exclusively from eau-de-vie selected from the Petite Champagne. With delicate floral fragrances and soft aromas of candied dried fruits, this Cognac is an exquisite vintage offering that leaves a lasting impression both on the mind and the mouth. The distillation on the lees sublimated by its long stay in oak barrels enhances the final expression.
Based in the serene location of Saint-Martial-Sur-Né, Maison Maxime Trijol is a well-known brand famous for its expert knowledge and savoir-faire that, like with many Cognac producers have been passed down through the family for generations. Boasting twenty-two enormous stills, Maxime Trijol oversees every single step of the production process, with no need to outsource services from other Cognac producers. From cultivating the vines to distilling, aging, blending and bottling - the brand proudly strives to produce excellent quality Cognac through each and every one of its products.
Presentation of the bottle
Showcased in a bespoke wooden presentation box, Maxime Trijol Vintage 1972 is a Cognac that deserves a proud centred place at the table when entertaining guests or on display with other Cognacs. Although the accompanying box allows the Cognac to be delivered as a lavish gift to someone special, it is the red and golden reflections of the eaux-de-vie inside that steals the show. Oozing luxury from inside out, the sustained viscosity of this vintage is characteristic of its roots from the Petite Champagne cru.
How to enjoy
Vintage 1972 Cognac is best enjoyed neat at the end of a meal. Serve the Cognac in a tulip glass at around 20°C and allow it to rest for a few minutes before drinking. Upon tasting, slowly inhale and absorb the aromas as they immerse the senses, sip after sip. For an experience you won’t forget, ensure you are in the right relaxing environment amongst good company too.
