Description
The 46°, Lheraud Vintage 1971 Fins Bois Cognac is one that any connoiseur would be delighted to own. Masters of the cask-strength Cognac, the family Lheraud have been creating the very best eaux-de-vies for centuries. And this, from the Fins Bois harvest of 1971, is a superb example of their expertise.
The Cognac showcases the very reason that Fins Bois Cognacs are becoming so sought after. Floral, fresh, herbaceous, with notes of spices, cocoa, chocolate, and warm patisserie - this is a truly intriguing Cognac. Enjoy it neat, on the rocks, or with a drop of water - it's great paired with a strong coffee, a bite of bitter chocolate or, if you're that way inclined, your favorite cigar. Whatever way you choose, take your time. A Cognac that's taken this long to come to fruition deserves the time to be truly appreciated.
About Lheraud Cognac
The family Lheraud have been involved in winemaking and cognac production for hundreds of years, but it was only in 1970 that exportation and promotion really began in earnest. Now producing not only cognac, but Pineau des Charentes and Armagnac as well, Lheraud exports its wares worldwide – and continues to expand into more countries on a yearly basis. Today’s owners – Andrée and Guy Lheraud – concentrate on producing Cognac Lheraud strictly on a traditional basis, and continue to work tirelessly to introduce their products to more countries and communities throughout the world.
