Leyrat Vintage 2006 Fins Bois Cognac: Single Estate, Single Harvest
The Leyrat Vintage 2006 Fins Bois Cognac is a single estate expression crafted with eaux-de-vie exclusively sourced from one estate in the Fins Bois region. This terroir is becoming more and more sought after, thanks to the myriad of flavors expressed by the eaux-de-vie here, often marked with distinct floral notes. Bottled as a snapshot of a single harvest, this release is heavily influenced by the climate of a bright and warm growing season, infusing the Cognac with pure sunshine. A great example of the expertise of the Cellar Master at Cognac Leyrat, it’s a bottle that offers extremely good value for money for a vintage Cognac and would make a stylish addition to any drinks cabinet.
Cognac Leyrat is based on the Domaine de Chez Maillard estate in the Fins Bois region of Cognac. Cognacs created here are renowned for their complexity and elegance; the family who first established the House were adamant on the production of natural and clean eaux-de-vie without any added sugars. All of the grapes grown for Leyrat Cognacs are handpicked from vineyards on the estate and cultivated using organic fertilizers without chemicals. Internationally awarded for quality and taste, Leyrat Cognac can be found on the most prestigious tables in the world.
Presentation of the Bottle
