Description

La Guilde Saint Germain de Vibrac Petite Champagne 2007 Cognac

The La Guilde Saint Germain de Vibrac Petite Champagne 2007 Cognac is a delicious opportunity to discover the terroir that sometimes gets overlooked in favor of its Grande Champagne big brother. The village of Saint Germain de Vibrac is located within the wooded hillsides of Petite Champagne where the limestone soils , have an amazing effect on the flavors of the grapes grown here and subsequently the eaux-de-vie used to make Cognac.

The vintage year of 2007 boasted a summer that was turbulent, not to mention challenging, for the Cognac farmers. But the eaux-de-vie that did eventually come out of it was truly unique, and of outstanding quality making a beautiful addition to any Cognac collection.

Presentation of the bottle

Displayed in a contemporary, chic bottle, La Guilde Lorignac Fins Bois 2011 presents craft Cognac at its finest. A color scheme of white, grey and blue bring to life the deep blood orange color of the eaux-de-vie inside with class and style, while the bottle’s label work hones in on the house of La Guilde as Artisan Distillers. A top-quality offering that is sure to impress enthusiasts of Petite Champagne vintage Cognacs.

How to enjoy

Sip and savor this Cognac neat to appreciate how the spicy aromas develop in time. Serve on the rocks to make the experience all the fresher and to alter the tasting ever so slightly. Pair with a fine cigar of your choice to elongate the tasting even further.

About La Guilde du Cognac

La Guilde du Cognac is not so much a Cognac house, rather it’s a way to bring a range of products to market that’ve been created by small, artisan producers of the region.  It’s the creation of Maison Villevert, a house that boasts a history that can be traced back as far as 1487.  The concept is about bringing the expertise of some of the most talented small producers to the notice of a larger global population: a population of Cognac connoiseurs who understand and cherish true quality when they taste it.
