Hine Millesime 1975 Early Landed Cognac is from a selection of excellent harvest years boasting its own unique elegance thanks to the influence of conditions and aging that each year offered. The year 1976 saw an exceptionally hot summer, which offered a wonderful volume and depth to this selection. Its finish embodies exotic fruits, hazelnuts and soft oak offer delectable harmony and balance that every connoisseur will appreciate.
Landing in 1975, the selection was brought to England in the 19th century thanks to many connoisseurs realizing that Cognac was able to mature differently in English cellars. Tom Hine himself, a former Englishman knew he was onto something special and continued sending casks to England to ensure this brilliance could be repeated. 1975 is of exceptional age and possesses a unique rarity and charm to its old essence.

About Hine Cognac
Located in the heart of the Grande Champagne, the premium wine growing area of the Cognac region, the house of Hine has been producing some of the most exquisite Cognacs for six generations, when it was better known as T Hine & Co Cognac. The estate boasts an exceptional 173 acres of vineyards, and the house has a very special tradition of producing relatively small quantities - but with a very high standard in quality. One of their trademarks is to store their vintage casks in damp cellars in Bristol, England. This way, the Thomas Hine Cognac goes through a uniquely different ageing process due to the humidity of the seaside town, which differs somewhat to that of the southwestern coast of France. These highly priced vintage bottles are called “Hine Early-Landed Vintage Cognac”.
