A rare vintage Cognac from a small farm of about fifteen hectares of vineyards located in Charente-Maritime, Saint-Simon-de-Pellouaille. The Grosperrin 1993 Vintage Fins Bois Cognac forms part of a series of old Cognacs that were bequeathed to Jean Grosperrin. A complex and accessible Cognac that is beautiful and well selected. Grosperrin are particularly skilled in selecting the finest of barrels and presenting them in unique, limited collections. This particular Vintage from 1993 is a snapshot of the Fins Bois cru; the terroir surrounding the Petite, Grande Champagne and Borderies. The eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois are renowned for their floral and fruity softness to add complexity and body to a Vintage.
Caramel and sugar are never added to Grosperrin Cognacs. Bottled and proofed at 46.2% ABV.

About Grosperrin Cognac
This relatively new, independent cognac house was created in 1992 and the brand named after its founder. The actual name of the cognac house is La Gabare and it is one of the few independent houses left in the region of Cognac. A family run firm, La Gabare is all about creating and marketing the finest of old cognacs. They do this under two brand names – Cognac de Collection Jean Grosperrin and Le Roch.
