Eye: Sunset gold.

Nose: complex, with a hint of sweetness from the vanilla and a subtle earthiness from the eucalyptus.

Palate: smooth and well-balanced, with a long, satisfying finish. This is a cognac that can be savored slowly, allowing its rich, complex flavors to fully develop on the palate.

Description

Godet Single-Cru Bois Ordinaires 15 Years Old Cognac

THIS VINTAGE COGNAC LETS NATURE ALONE EXPRESS ITSELF. IT IS AN EXPRESSION OF THE TERROIR.

Bois Ordinaires is the coastal and insular terroir exposed to the ocean environment. This Single Cru accurately embodies this unique Cognac terroir with its chalky and clay soils. With the intimate knowledge of this terroir passed down from one generation to the next, like a careful map, and the daily work with our fifteen or so partner winemakers, Godet retains only the best.

Clearly defined with a scent of pear and hazelnut on the nose. Dry, sharp finish. A cognac for the ascetic. Single-vintage cognac, 15 years old. A bouquet that suggests notes of violets, coffee, Morello, vanilla, eucalyptus, and anise. With a nice length. The crystal glass decanter is completely hand-crafted and adorned with a simple, elegant label. The unique stopper is shaped like a seashell, a nod to the coastal terroirs that produce this exceptional cognac.
