Description
Giboin Borderies Vintage '95 50cl Cognac
Revealing an array of complex aromatic fragrances and distinct flavors characteristic of the single year of 1995, this vintage Cognac is a true emblem of the Borderies cru and the soft soils its Ugni-blanc grapes were grown in.
With hundreds of years worth of expertise under their belt, it’s safe to say the close-knit family running Maison Giboin know a thing or two about Cognac. Based in both the Borderies and Fins bois crus, Giboin are artisanal masters in the creation of quality products characteristic of the region and subsoil. Offering a variety of unique Cognacs and Pineau de Charentes, the house of Giboin is a notable brand that deserves a firm place in any Cognac collection.
Presentation of the bottle
Vintage Borderies 1995 is available as a 70cl bottle or in the slightly smaller 50cl version. While this smaller 50cl version is an ideal gift or small gesture, as it arrives with a beautiful burgundy presentation box to match, the 70cl bottle is the perfect size when adding to your own collection. Inside the bottle, the Cognac’s copper color with golden hues shine through as it catches the light. A vintage essential for a Cognac connoisseurs collection.
How to enjoy
Vintage Cognacs like Giboin Borderies Vintage 1995 Cognac deserve to be enjoyed on their own, at room temperature. After taking the first sip, let this vintage Cognac rest in the tulip glass for a few minutes. Next, slowly inhale and absorb the new aromas as they fill your senses. Appreciate it for all its worth. When inhaling, close your eyes and take in the Cognac, as you focus on the senses - let your imagination run wild and the memories speak for themselves.
About Giboin Cognac
Giboin is an expert producer of both Cognac and Pineau de Charentes, with 60 acres (24 hectars) of vineyards in both the Borderies and Fins Bois Cognac growing areas of the Charente. This family run, traditional brand has a history stretching back to the early part of the nineteenth century, and exclusively produces a very limited amount of Cognac per year. Using predominantly Ugni Blanc grapes, but Merlot too, Giboin strives to remain committed to the methods used by the family’s founders, and for a small house curates a surprisingly versatile and wide range of Cognac and Pineau products.
