Description
Domaines Hine Bonneuil 2005 Grande Champagne Cognac
Domaines Hine Bonneuil 2005 is a single year Grande Champagne Cognac made with grapes, taken exclusively from the brand’s own vineyards on the Domaines Hine estate in the Premier Cru. Domaines Hine 2005 is the first vintage to be released in the Bonneuil collection. Only 18 casks, yielding 9,000 bottles have been selected of this 2005 vintage, making it a must-have limited edition.
An exotic Cognac, offering powerful aromas of fully matured grapes, together with hints of gingerbread, liquorice and oriental spices on the nose. It has a great presence on the palate revealing a rich and jam like texture. The warm aromas of honey, pineapple and cloves, lead to an oriental finish lingering deliciously on the palate. An immersive tasting experience that takes tasters on a voyage of the senses.
Domaines Hine's Premier Cru vineyards cover 70 hectares of established Ugni Blanc vines, which grow in the ideal, thick and chalky terroir of the Grande Champagne area. The wines are then distilled on their lees to enhance the fruit and flavour in the new spirit. For maturation, the eaux-de-vie are transferred into French oak casks made from trees grown in the Allier forests.
Presentation of the bottle
Classically elegant, the Hine Bonneuil 2005 Cognac’s bottle design is as luxurious as the Cognac it houses. Its beautifully shiny bronze colouring embodies the supple flavourings and exceptional quality that is contained inside the bottle. The timeless design of the decanter means it would sit nicely alongside others in your collection. Arriving with a stylish gift box, it is the perfect present for a Cognac connoisseur.
How to enjoy
Having found its alcohol content naturally over time, this vintage Cognac contains unparalleled elegance and infinite depth that should be enjoyed one sip at a time. Drink neat from a tulip glass, as the narrow top of this type of glass will delicately distribute the arrival of aromas during the tasting. Try adding a couple of ice cubes to subtly alter the tasting experience, as the cold ice will allow the aromas to develop in a slightly different way.

Sehr leicht, kurzer Abgang. Sehr schwach! Und dafür wollen die soviel Geld? Werde ihn definitiv...
About Hine Cognac
Located in the heart of the Grande Champagne, the premium wine growing area of the Cognac region, the house of Hine has been producing some of the most exquisite Cognacs for six generations, when it was better known as T Hine & Co Cognac. The estate boasts an exceptional 173 acres of vineyards, and the house has a very special tradition of producing relatively small quantities - but with a very high standard in quality. One of their trademarks is to store their vintage casks in damp cellars in Bristol, England. This way, the Thomas Hine Cognac goes through a uniquely different ageing process due to the humidity of the seaside town, which differs somewhat to that of the southwestern coast of France. These highly priced vintage bottles are called “Hine Early-Landed Vintage Cognac”.
