Description

Claude Thorin Vintage 1996 Folle Blanche Cognac

Claude Thorin Vintage 1996 Folle Blanche Cognac is a Cognac that entices from the first glance of its golden glare. It's produced from the fine Folle Blanche grape, the old grape that used to be the mainstay of the vineyards of Cognac until the phylloxera crisis of the 1880s. Due to the grapes limited existence, this Cognac boasts a rare charm with a flavor that is hard to come by today. From the year 1996, its extraordinary value makes it a stape within a Cognac cabinet.

Crafted from an ever-growing Cognac house, each creation from Claude Thorin is a result of outstanding knowledge and trusted traditional methods. Produced from an expert process that takes place entirely on the Claude Thorin estate, this vintage guarantees excellence from the picking of the grape to the finished bottle. Priding itself on traditional procedures used for centuries, this vintage is rare and exceptional Cognac.

Presentation of the bottle

Placed in a clean design, the crisp golden feel complements the sheen of the Cognac color beautifully. Bold black conveys its rarity, complemented by white, which nods to its tradition. Simplistic, yet undeniably sophisticated. Finished in a gold swirl presentation box, its expertise is evident down to the final detail. An exceptional gift, or feature in a Cognac cabinet.

How to enjoy

To fully savor the rarity of this vintage enjoy neat with slow, intentional sips. Suits well to a dash of water to tease the favorable aroma to the surface.
