Description
Chollet Grande Champagne 1977 Cognac
Chollet Vintage Grande Champagne 1977 Cognac is a limited edition premium vintage offering made up exclusively of eau-de-vie from 1977. Aged for 40 years before being bottled, it was produced in the Grande Champagne cru, and is made even more exclusive by its single vintage year. Only 77 bottles were produced (in keeping with its vintage year), making this Cogna a rare collector’s item and one for discerning Cognac connoisseurs who favor old and vintage Cognacs in particular.
Chollet Cognac House is a family-run estate in the Cognac region of France, producing some of the finest Cognac in the world. Its commitment to quality and craftsmanship dates back to 1971 when Jeannine and Jacques Chollet distilled the first Chollet Cognac. Today, the estate continues to work tirelessly in producing their Cognacs and expanding the business to offer a bed and breakfast and a campsite for motor homes.
Presentation of the bottle
Presented in a contemporary bottle, this Cognac’s mahogany robe glimmers among others in a Cognac collection. Its illustrated label features an eye-catching image of the vineyard, nodding to the early stages of this Cognacs production process. Please note: the image shows a Damme Jeanne behind the bottle. This product contains only the bottle, not the Damme Jeanne.
How to enjoy
This Cognac is best tasted at room temperature, with or without ice, depending on your desires.
About Chollet Cognac
The house of Chollet Cognac might have a shorter history than some in the region, but it's a fascinating one. In addition, the stor just goes to show what can be achieved if you truly want to follow your passion. The hard work that the founders of Chollet Cognac undertook in 1952 is tantamount to the success of the house today. It's a wonderful example of how a small, artisan brand can bring the delicious wonders of the world of Cognac to us, as a consumer. The range on offer from Chollet includes some very old Cognacs–very certainly ones that will appeal to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life. Definitely a brand to explore for both the connoiseur and the less experienced Cognac drinker.
