Description
Bache Gabrielsen 30 Years Old Cognac (Vintage 1993)
This exceptional single estate Cognac originates from the vineyards of the late Mr. Garraud in Chérac-Borderies. Distilled in 1993 and aged for 30 years in his personal cellar, this vintage reflects the unique climatic conditions of that year—marked by a cold, dry winter followed by a mild, rainy spring, resulting in grapes of outstanding quality.
Crafted exclusively from Ugni Blanc grapes and matured in Limousin oak barrels, this Cognac showcases the distinctive character of the Borderies cru. The nose reveals a delicate bouquet of fresh flowers, balanced by notes of crushed almonds and apricot. On the palate, it offers a generous profile of hazelnut, fresh vanilla, and subtle hints of aged leather, culminating in a long, harmonious finish.
Presentation of the Bottle
The Cognac is presented in an elegant bottle, available with either a "Tradition" box or a white case, underscoring its refined character. With only 403 bottles produced, this limited edition is a true collector's item.
How to Drink
To fully appreciate the remarkable depth and rich complexity of this 30-year-old Cognac, serve it neat in a tulip glass at room temperature, allowing its aromas and velvety texture to unfold with each sip.
