Description
Maxime Trijol Colombard Limited Edition Cognac
Maxime Trijol Colombard Limited Edition Cognac is an atypical Cognac produced from rare Colombard grapes instead of the more commonly used Ugni Blanc grape variety. With this Grande Champagne blend, made exclusively from the distillation of 100% Colombard eau-de-vie, discover a fresh Cognac with lively citrus notes. Selected solely from the Grande Champagne, premier cru of Cognac, this Cognac can be characterized by its lengthy finish that leaves a lasting impression long after the tasting has taken place.
Based in the serene location of Saint-Martial-Sur-Né, Maison Maxime Trijol is a well-known brand famous for its expert knowledge and savoir-faire that, like with many Cognac producers, have been passed down through the family for generations. Boasting twenty-two enormous stills, Maxime Trijol oversees every single step of the production process, with no need to outsource services from other Cognac producers. From cultivating the vines to distilling, aging, blending and bottling - the brand proudly strives to produce excellent quality Cognac through each and every one of its products.
Presentation of the bottle
This unique Cognac delight is elegantly presented in a traditional Cognac decanter with elegant golden typography and black foiling around its neck. The bottle showcases the Cognac’s stunning amber colouring with hints of glowing mahogany as this liquid gold catches the light. A lovely gift idea for someone who lavishes on life’s luxuries.
How to enjoy
This Cognac is best enjoyed neat at the end of a meal. Serve the Cognac in a tulip glass at around 20°C and allow it to rest for a few minutes before drinking. Upon tasting, slowly inhale and absorb the aromas as they immerse the senses, sip after sip. For an experience you won’t forget, ensure you are in the right relaxing environment amongst good company.

Oh well,
I don't notice with the eau de vie whether the apricot was harvested in the Wachau or in Alsace. It's the same here, I can't smell or taste whether it's Colombard grapes or not. In my opinion a young, very alcoholic cognac that is only remotely reminiscent of fruit and wood. Think everyone is better...
