A very old Grande Fine cognac from Marcel Ragnaud, Grand Premier Cru de Cognac, from a historic American import bottling. Collector's item.

Description

Marcel Ragnaud farms in the very heart of the Grande Champagne, the Grand Premier Cru de Cognac. This Grande Fine V.E. (Very Extra) is a very old expression of pure Grande Champagne, an original older bottling imported for a New York merchant and carrying an older tax stamp.

Long ageing gives a rich, mature Grande Champagne profile: candied fruit, honey, old oak, gentle spice and a deep, lingering rancio. Powerful yet supremely refined.

A rare older bottling and collector's item, bottled for the US market with an older tax stamp.
