Description
A Cognac from a Fins Bois harvest
A rare Cognac from a small farm of about fifteen hectares of vineyards located in Charente-Maritime, Saint-Simon-de-Pellouaille. The Grosperrin N°93 Fins Bois Cognac forms part of a series of old Cognacs that were bequeathed to Jean Grosperrin. A complex and accessible Cognac that is beautiful and well selected. Grosperrin are particularly skilled in selecting the finest of barrels and presenting them in unique, limited collections. This particular Cognac is a snapshot of the Fins Bois cru; the terroir surrounding the Petite, Grande Champagne and Borderies. The eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois are renowned for their floral and fruity softness to add complexity and body.
Caramel and sugar are never added to Grosperrin Cognacs. Bottled and proofed at 46.4% ABV.

About Grosperrin Cognac
The independent Cognac house of Grosperrin is a relatively new one in the region, having only been established in 1999 by its founder, Jean Grosperrin. Grosperrin is based in Saintes which sits between the terroirs of Fins Bois and Borderies and it is today run by Jean’s son, Guilhelm, who took over in 2004 at just 23 years old.
Guilhelm’s mission is to discover producers all across the region in order to create truly unique Cognacs from the six crus. This vision was made possible by the fantastic relationships Jean Grosperrin built with producers, and that Guilhelm has since built on and expanded. Today, Grosperrin works with over 150 Cognac producers, from which Guilhelm will meticulously select barrels to craft into exquisite end bottles.
