Description
An award-winning Grande Champagne Cognac
The Geffard Tres Vieux Cognac is produced by the highest quality ingredients from the Grande Champagne - known for producing excellent Cognac thanks to the high chalk content of the soil, maritime climate, and optimal sun exposure. Satisfaction at every sip can be assured.
The Geffard family began establishing their name and mastering their craft in 1840, passing down their savoir-faire from generation to generation. Now with the fifth generation, the two children, Karine and Stephane currently run the business.
The Geffard family estate is in an enviable position in the heart of the Premier Cru - the Grande Champagne. The area and microclimate is known for producing exceptional eaux-de-vie as the soil is chalky. All of their Cognacs are harvested, distilled and ripened - on the estate and produced as a family.

Smooth, but would like some more power
Geffard Henri is located in Verrieres, that should imply quality. I have never visited this producer, this bottle is solely bought because of their location. This is a cognac with a quite dark golden color. On the nose I mostly find darker notes like wood, nuts, some chocolate and a bit of cinnamon....
