Description

Bourgoin Ciel & Terre Cognac

Bourgoin Ciel & Terre Cognac is a rare Cognac containing notes of freshly cut hay, which is typical in Cognacs from the eastern part of Charente. Whilst the exact age of thus Cognac remains unknown, it is predicted to be from the end of the 19th century! Only 1000 bottles have been produced, making Ciel & Terre even more precious as a beautifully fine and pure jewel representing just how precious the sky and the land are when it comes to curating Cognac.

As with all of Bourgoin's Cognacs, the eaux-de-vie is aged in micro barrels, and the bottle is of a 35cl size. Everything about this blend screams its individuality, including the bottle shape and the bold labeling. A great Cognac to add to your collection. Meanwhile, it makes a superb present for anyone who enjoys trying the best craft Cognac that the region has to offer.

The house of Bourgoin is a contemporary craft Cognac brand that dedicates its passion and expertise to cultivating the very best vines, through the most natural means possible. Offering a unique range of Cognac and non-Cognac products, this family-run business boasts a strong branding identity, which enables them to stand out from the crowd within the world of Cognac.

Presentation of the bottle

Presented in a modern 35cl bottle, its design work embodies the house of Bourgoins identity as one of the hottest contemporary Cognac brands on the market. The bottles bold font with black and white labelling allows this Cognac to stand proud on the shelf, and contrast nicely against other more classically designed decanters in the drinks cabinet. The hand-engraving, by Frederic Bourgoin himself, adds an authentic finishing touch to this one of a kind Cognac.

How to enjoy

Sip and savour the Bourgoin Ciel & Terre Cognac from a tulip glass, at room temperature, as the narrow top of this type of glass will delicately distribute the arrival of aromas during the tasting. By adding a dash of ice or mineral water, you are able to alter the tasting experience slightly, as this will open up the aromas even more.
