Description
Berry Bros. & Rudd F.L.B. Grande Champagne Cognac
This Cognac is a true standout, holding its own amongst its older and more established siblings in the Frapin range. Boasting an incredible depth, harmonized with a mellow floral essence, it’s a charming Cognac to endure. Produced from the finest region of the Cognac; Grande Champagne, its exceptional flavor is a true credit to the wonders this superb soil generates. Reasonably priced, it is approachable to both Cognac aficionados and novices alike.
The Frapin family have been vinegrowers and distillers in Charentes since 1270, and count Rabelais among their ancestors. Placed in the enviable position of owning the largest single vineyard in the Grande Champagne region, the house holds an impressive monopoly of fine Cognac creations. Boasting generations of experience that draw on tradition exquisitely, each Frapin production is one of true expertise and brilliance. No exception to that, this selection is named after a twentieth-century BB&R ancestor, Francis Lawrence Berry, and stands as a beautiful representation of what this house has to offer.
Presentation of the bottle
