Fins Bois Finesse: The Chateau de Beaulon 12-Year-Old Cognac
An exceptioned XO exclusively produced using eaux-de-vie from the Fins Bois region. As with many of Chateau de Beaulon's Cognacs, this XO has been left to age for 2 years more than the legal requirement for a blend of this age. It boasts a wonderful variety of flavors and aromas, including toasted notes of bread and almond, with the sweet fruity notes of peach and orange, balanced by the warming spice of cinnamon.
The Chateau de Beaulon estate can be found in the Charentes area, 90 hectares of land located on limestone hillsides with a unique microclimate that offers optimum growing conditions. The estate grows 9 different grape varieties, chosen specifically for their ability to complement one another.
Since Christian Thomas took over in 1965, Chateau de Beaulon focuses on growing many rare and forgotten grape varieties, including the Folle Blanche and Colombard. The Maison uses a combination of ancestral expertise, modern technology and sustainable farming to produce some of the best Cognacs and Pineaux the region has to offer.
The Beaulon estate actually dates back to the 17th century when it was acquired by Monseigneur de Nesmond, King Louis XIV's advisor and the Beaulon heir.
Experience a Cognac that boasts a rich history and an even richer complexity in character and flavor.

How to Enjoy:
This particular XO can be enjoyed on its own or over ice in a snifter or tumbler glass. Its toasted elements make it the ideal digestif, and can be savored even further when sipped alongside a cup of freshly-pressed Arabica black coffee.
Presentation of the Bottle:
Dressed in a regal maroon/burgundy color, the detailing on both label and case perfectly complement the Cognacs deep amber color, with the Chateau de Beaulon coat of arms embossed onto the bottle. The bottle comes with a metal tube for storage, display or gifting purposes.
Wait for the finish
Smells of warm fruit bread, toasted nuts, pineapples and peaches in syrup. Has a very delicate landing on the palate, but the flavours build in intensity, moving from an initial cool fruity mellowness to a warm spicy, lingering finish. It’s not weighty and it doesn’t force itself upon you. Rather...
О Château de Beaulon Cognac
The beautiful façade and setting of the Chateau de Beaulon Cognac estate is a fitting setting for producing fine cognac. The chateau itself dates back to the year 1480, with it entering into the hands of the Beaulon family in 1510. The family name remains the same to this day, although it is now run by the very capable Christian Thomas. Chateau de Beaulon Cognac has always been, and continues to be, created purely from the fruits of a single vineyard, and is recognized around the world as being a highly desirable, artisan produced cognac.
