Eye: A bright amber with enticing depth.

Nose: Liquorice and root ginger with hints of lemon sorbet slowly transition to sweet pineapples. Some treacle and sappy notes rise as the aroma develops. Brioche and apricot jam offer a final touch.

Palate: Surprisingly creamy and a clean spiciness, with peppermint, nutmeg and vanilla. A little bitter on the finish, with a white-grapefruit tang.

It opens with an aroma that is a beautiful balance of sweet and spice, which is mirrored in its taste. The palate exquisitely follows with harmony that develops into a clean and lasting finish. Produced from a Cognac house founded in 1875, the expertise of each creation passed the test of time. Owned by the reputable Braastad family, who originally migrated to Cognac from Norway, each product of this house is both worldly and timeless. О Tiffon Cognac

With strong ties to the Scandinavian country of Norway, the history of Cognac Tiffon dates back to 1875. Tiffon is to this day a family run business, and is based at the beautiful family home, the Chateau de Triac, just 5 kms from the town of Jarnac. The Chateau itself has a battle-scarred and convoluted history, dating back to the 11th century, which includes being razed to the ground by fires and completely demolished during the Hundred Years’ War. Today, the family grows 40 hectares of Grande Champagne and Fins Bois vines, overseen by cellar master Richard Braastad, who comes from an old cognac producers’ family.
