Godet's range of Vintage Cognacs must be one of the largest in the entire region, with a collection spanning 1814 to the present day. Their Fins Bois 1988 Millésime Cognac is a single year, single cru Cognac that recounts the history of this Cognac house and their adventures.

The Fins Bois is the largest of the terroirs, and produces full-bodied, complex Cognacs with plenty of fruity and floral flavor.

The Godet Coat of Arms was bestowed upon the family by King Louis XIV, the three glasses is a symbol of not only the fact they are kings of their craft, that Cognac is in their blood, but equally that the family have had a huge influence on Cognac's popularity both in the past, and in the present. This important history has been captured throughout time in Godet’s range of single vintages.

History remains an essential part of the estate's business model, privileging the traditional grape of yesteryear, "Folle Blanche" a somewhat forgotten grape that has, for the most part, been replaced by Ugni Blanc. The revival of this grape in their eaux-de-vie is just one of many examples of Godet embracing the future while preserving the past.
