Dudognon Paulin Cognac
The oldest Cognac from the House of Dudognon, this expression is a rare gem sourced from the Premier Cru. Dudognon Paulin Cognac is an exceptional spirit that has been carefully preserved deep in this Maison’s cellars for three generations, waiting for the right moment to be unveiled. Many years ago, it was distilled over a wood fire by Raymond Dudognon, the father of Claudine Dudognon and grandfather of her son Pierre. The two of them work together to ensure the family tradition is carried on, connecting treasures of the past to consumers of today. Only the quality of Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie and the passage of time can create a Cognac such as this. Treasure it well.
The House of Dudognon are a family of winegrowers who have been feeding their land for several generations. Whilst Dudogne primarily harvest Ugni Blanc grapes, by taking care of the vines and respecting the fragile balance of soil, they have also reclaimed Folle Blanche and Montils which were abandoned grape varieties, following the phylloxera crisis in Charente around sixty years ago. As a result, this savvy cognac house is able to produce fabulous white wines with a wide aromatic range for distillation.
Presentation of the Bottle
The Dudognon Paulin Cognac is presented in a simple bottle, with a copper label and gold embellishment on the glass in the form of a grapevine. Gold foil on the neck and classic calligraphy text on the label give a vintage feel, a nod to the traditional approach of this small producer. The bottle is accompanied by a stunning copper-colored presentation box.

О Dudognon Cognac
The family at Maison Dudognon have been distilling Cognac since 1776. Over the centuries, their efforts have resulted in many gold medals; the current owner Claudine, as well as her father and great-grandfather, have all been recognized for their skill and brilliance. Over the generations, they have nourished and worked the soil, respecting the delicate balance of the soil to produce quality grapes. Their location in the heart of the Grande Champagne region allows them to create outstanding eaux-de-vie, using Ugni Blanc grapes as well as more traditional varieties like Folle Blanche and Montils. In the name of tradition, Claudine also swears by the use of wood-fired stills - just like her ancestors did.
