Aged for at least 2 years in Limousin oak barrels Couprie Liqueur de Café au Cognac is a harmonious marriage of fruit and alcohol. A spirit made up of rigorously selected fruit extracts and natural flavors, as well as premium quality Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie, this liquor reveals a melange of light and very fruity flavors.
The Couprie family have been vine-growers, based in the Grande Champagne area of Cognac since 1730. Putting their passion and skills to good use, this Cognac house maintains family traditions, by distilling their own wine to make fine, flavourful, elegant Cognac - all for the enjoyment of dedicated connoisseurs.
Housed in a classic, tall bottle the Cognac coffee liquor’s deep and intense dark coloring takes center stage. A fine addition to the spirits cabinet, the bottle is stamped with both the brand logo and an illustration of coffee beans - meaning it won’t take you long to locate this hidden gem when mixing up cocktails.
Served chilled, on the rocks, or as the base of a cocktail. Round and delicious, it is the ideal accompaniment to a rich chocolate or coffee dessert.
When Pierre Couprie received the distillation permit in 1750, he introduced a long history for the Couprie family. Their estate in Ambleville in the Grande Champagne has been the home to the cognac house sine generations. Like many smaller producers, Couprie Cognac uses only its own wine production to ensure and control the highest quality of their eaux-de-vie. Courpie also produces Pineau des Charentes and liqueurs to broaden their product range.
