A marriage of eaux-de-vie from Petite Champagne, this Cognac perfectly demonstrates how fruity and woody notes can work in harmony to create a simply divine drinking experience. The Cognac holds a profile that is typical of its region with its notes of Cedar and pineapple, crystallized mandarins and dried fruits, followed by an earthy hit of blond tobacco.

When Georges Vallein founded this Maison in 1850, he would have no idea that 5 generations would follow in his footsteps, honing their craft to sheer perfection as the years went by. Their blending processes, which allow complete control over the finished product, have set them apart from others and have given them a reputation as producers of some of the finest blends in the industry.

What makes this almost 50-year-old Cognac exceptional is that it has been bottled in its natural state so as not to take anything away from it (meaning a high alcohol content of 52%!), this lack of chill filtering delivers more intense flavors that permeate across all of the senses.

It delicately balances chocolate, licorice and exotic fruits on the palate, with a complex and intense finish of port wine, vanilla and English cake. On the nose the vanilla-like scent of tonka bean dominates, all the while being intersected with jasmine, saffron and leather, luxurious aromas for a luxury Cognac.
