The third edition of the Camus Masterpiece Collection by Cyril Camus is the Camus Cuvée 2.105 Cognac. This release represents the perfect combination of only two eaux-de-vie from the Premier Cru: half of the blend is a 40-year-old Cognac chosen by Cyril Camus, and the other half is an older, 65-year-old expression chosen by his father Jean-Paul. In classic Grande Champagne style, this is a Cognac which has aged with particular grace. Its floral notes carry on from nose to palate, revealing the complexity that can only be achieved with extended maturation.
Since Jean-Baptise Camus founded his company in 1863, four generations have followed in his footsteps to turn this small winegrower into a world-renowned Cognac house of distinction. Their family-owned vineyards are part of a magnificent estate of 280 hectares (691 acres), located in the very heart of Cognac. This blend of two Cognacs in identical proportions beautifully celebrates the importance that family has for the House of Camus, passing the skill, passion and knowledge of Cognac production from father to son.
The Baccarat Crystal decanter, designed by Serge Manseau, is as impressive as its contents. With a multifaceted, cutaway design, a banded decoration on the neck and an oversized crystal stopper, this is a bottle to admire time and time again. Only 1228 exclusive decanters have been produced, each of them numbered and presented in a beautiful brown leather box with black and bronze accents.
