Cognac Tesseron Lot №53 XO Perfection
The color is classic, dark amber.
The aroma is not alcoholic, powerful, rich, and surprisingly fresh. Fruits transitioning into dried fruits (plums, grapes, apricots, figs, raisins) are mixed with tropical fruits and citrus fruits. This is followed by floral notes with confectionery (chocolate and coffee notes). The finish features berries, tobacco, leather, and spices in a woody, resinous frame.
The taste is not alcoholic, quite soft, dry, with a slight sourness. Floral, with light herbal motifs. Fruity and berry. The confectionery theme is again provided by bitter chocolate and coffee, with a little caramel. The finish is spices and tobacco against a woody-balsamic background.
The aftertaste is quite long and dry. Floral and grassy, fruity and honeyed with notes of dark chocolate and spices against a woody and balsamic background.
Summary. A magnificent cognac, just my style, and I liked it more than Lot29.

Цвет классический, темно-янтарный.
Аромат не спиртуозный, мощный, насыщенный, на удивление достаточно свежий. Солируют фрукты переходящие в сухофрукты (слива, виноград, абрикос, инжир, изюм) вперемешку с тропическими фруктами и цитрусовыми. Далее цветочная тема с кондитерской (шоколадно-кофейные нотки). На финише ягоды, табак, кожа и специи в древесно-смолистом обрамлении.
Вкус не спиртуозный, достаточно мягкий, суховатый, с небольшой кислинкой. Цветочный, с легкими травянистыми мотивами. Фруктово-ягодный. Вновь за кондитерскую тему отвечает горький шоколад и кофе, немного карамели. На финише специи и табак на древесно-бальзамическом фоне.
Послевкусие достаточно продолжительное, сухое. Цветочно-травянистое, фруктово-медовое с нотками горького шоколада, специй на древесно-бальзамическом фоне.
Резюме. Великолепный коньяк, как раз в моем стиле и мне он понравился больше чем Lot29.

A small sip: Allow your taste buds in the various areas of your mouth to distinguish the different flavours. This part of cognac tasting is described as ‘the palate’. Don’t just swallow it down; allow the liquid to touch all the regions of the mouth. Doing this is necessary as the taste buds pick up contrasting flavours in the different areas of the mouth; on the tip of your tongue to the sides, for example. Take a tiny sip to prep your palate for the sensory experience to come. Take a second larger sip, and gently roll the cognac around, etting it come into contact with every corner of your mouth. Focus on the perceived textural sensations. Are the sensations round and rich or fresh and elegant? Is the overall mouthfeel intense, balanced, disjointed, or lacking presence? In short, how does the cognac feel in your mouth?
