A bit anonymous

This is blend 70% Grande Champagne and 30% Petite Champagne stored for about 25-30 years. I have tasted it before, and then I liked it quite well.
This cognac has a rather dark red golden color. It is intense on the nose, i find a lot of darker notes like Asian spices, leather tobacco and some ginger. In a way it is too much on the nose, I wish it was more delicate. In mouth I find it very anonymous. It is nothing wrong with it, it is just not very tasty. But it is round and fine. I wish it had more power. I think the previous version had 43%. The same goes with the finish. It is delicate, but not very robust. I am a bit disappointed, I remember the previous version as far better. And it is hard to handle the missing link between the rich nose and the weak body.
