It is hard to evaluate on stand alone, after several tastings vs 4 other cognacs, it is easiest to identify by smell and aftertaste. After having experience with Delamain lineup (4+ ) i can call Navarre take very different to Tres venerable (i like old cognacs) having similar age in mind Delamain T V still pulls ahead, but considering 2-2.5x price difference it makes sense. If looking critically the primary taste lacks age taste ( yes i am beginner) in comparison (smell and aftertaste have age in spades).
