Very complex. Starts fruity, like hard candied fruit sweets, but then there’s a dollop of marmalade with plums and a violet background.
Delicious sharp/sweet arrival on the palate with plum jam and coffee. Also some tobacco that turns a little ashy as it develops.
It gets a little bitter, but the sweetness comes back in waves before it gets to the spiky spices at the end.
Great fun to drink. I always appreciate extra strength and there’s no exception here.
