Description

Godet Vieilles Borderies

Interested in venturing into the delicious delights of the highly-coveted Borderies terroir? Look no further than the Godet Vieilles Borderies - an XO cognac that has been aged in oak barrels for 30 years. Produced from grapes of the Borderies cru, the blend boasts smooth notes of honey and flowers, that contrast deliciously against a nose of dried figs and violet. The Borderies cru is the smallest of the Cognac region and takes up just 5% of the whole region. The flavors and floral quality of eaux-de-vie from this terroir are deep and long-reaching.

Renowned for the floral and fruity palate of their Cognacs, Maison Godet know the true value of time and worth of a well-aged Cognac, and use time wisely in order to build complexity in their Cognacs. Crafting Cognac deep with history, expertise and generations of know-how, the house of Godet are the only brand to under-go the ageing process by the Atlantic Ocean, which gives their Cognacs remarkable fullness and precision like no other.

Presentation of the decanter

Decanted in an elegant and simple bottle design, Godet Vieilles Cognac proves that, whilst presentation is important - it’s what’s on the inside that counts the most. Nevertheless, with its slim neck and smooth curves, this bottle will stand tall on the brandy shelf. Arriving in a bespoke wooden case, allows this Cognac to serve as a wonderful gift for someone who lavishes the finer things in life.

How to enjoy Vieilles Borderies Cognac

To experience the full breadth of aroma and flavor, sip and savour this precious nectar neat from a snifter glass. Drinking Cognac at room temperature is generally favoured, however we recommend also trying it over ice, as this will open up the aromas even more and add another dimension to this XO Borderies Cognac.
