Description

Domaine des Brizards Vieille Reserve Cognac

Introducing the Domaine des Brizards Vieille Reserve Cognac, a distinguished spirit meticulously crafted by SCEA Boisnard in the renowned Bons Bois cru of the Cognac region. This exceptional Cognac is produced from 100% Ugni Blanc grapes and boasts a remarkable aging process of at least 30 years in oak barrels, resulting in a spirit of profound depth and complexity.

The Vieille Reserve Cognac presents a very dark brown hue, indicative of its extensive aging. On the nose, it offers a rich bouquet of woody aromas, enhanced by hints of cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, toasted bread, smoke, undergrowth, moss, and mushroom. These sophisticated notes are seamlessly carried through to the palate, where the Cognac reveals its rich and complex character. The well-balanced woodiness is complemented by flavors of cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla, finishing with a satisfying smokiness and earthy undertones.

Produced using the traditional Charentais double distillation method, this Cognac reflects the unique terroir of clay-limestone soil and a temperate oceanic climate, nestled on the slopes along the Gironde facing the Médoc. The meticulous craftsmanship and strict adherence to quality standards, including CEE, AOC Cognac, and HACCP certifications, ensure the exceptional quality and authenticity of this spirit.

Presentation of the Bottle

The Domaine des Brizards Vieille Reserve Cognac is available in both 70cl and 35cl bottles, The 70cl Vieille Reserve comes in a bulbous decanter with a golden stopper. The 35cl bottle comes with a golden cap.
