Description
Local Artist Julien Drevelle X ABK6 Cognac
Producer ABK6 has collaborated with a local Cognac artist, Julien Drevelle, to present the ABK6 Réserve Artist Collection Limited Edition Cognac. Elegant and complex, this is an intensely aromatic Cognac grown on the 220 hectares of vines across the Abecassis vineyards and aged for a very long time.
With estates in the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois, this exceptional Cognac is produced by a selection of fine eaux-de-vie. Sustainable farming methods were respected throughout the process, offering a Cognac of remarkable quality. The works of Drevelle are exhibited in cellars surrounded by oak barrels with each of the unique decanter’s paintings evolving whilst the Cognac ages harmoniously alongside.
Presentation of the bottle
This bottle is a true testament to Drevelle’s artistic prowess. Each bottle is numbered from 1 to 10000 and presented in a unique decanter topped with a natural beechwood stopper. The label and presentation box features the same harmonious and bright colors as Drevelle’s canvas.
How to enjoy
Savor this Cognac neat to explore its unique expression. Add a few cubes of ice to allow the aromas to open up across the palate. Immerse yourself into its memorable taste sensation with slow sips that appreciate every inch of its journey. We recommend serving this Cognac from a tulip glass, as its narrow flute allows the aromas to develop unreservedly.
About ABK6 Cognac
Owned by Francis Abécassis (a homonym of ABK6 when pronounced in French), ABK6 Cognac is a relatively young brand based in the Domaine de Chez Maillard near the village of Claix. The brand is known for its choice to produce single estate Cognacs, with its eaux-de-vie being carefully selected from their 220 hectares of land, specifically for their aromatic intensity and indulgence. The label has shaken up the industry by introducing a young and modern spirit to a traditional drink, without compromising on quality. The company is now one of the largest independent producers in Cognac, and also owns the brands Leyrat, Reviseur and Grands Domaines. Attention to detail is applied to every single aspect of production at ABK6, with sustainable growing methods, Charentaise distillation and precise blending. It’s no wonder the group has taken home over 60 awards in recent years.
