The award-winning VSOP by Delpech Fougerat is a favorite of Cognac connoisseurs on each and every continent, making its name after taking home the prestigious double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Delpech Fougerat has two estates in the Petite Champagne terroir, with a history dating back to 1777. The family-run business found fame thanks to the quality of the Cognacs they produce, but have equally moved into other spirit markets using various distillation methods, both experimental and traditional.
The bright copper color of their VSOP is a testament to the aging process it has undertaken in Limousin Oak casks at the family's estate in Petite Champagne. Its nose boasts beautiful aromas of vanilla, peach, citrus and dried fruits with a delicately perfumed floral bouquet. It has a well-balanced and fruity palate lifted by sweet notes of caramel and Bourbon vanilla, an elegant drinking experience that boldly blends the kick of citrus with fresh fruit, flowers and gourmand caramel and vanilla. Its long finish lingers on the tongue with a persistent and pleasurable aftertaste.
