Opis
Camus VSOP Borderies Cognac
The most awarded VSOP Cognac at San Francisco WSC from 2013 to 2018, Camus VSOP Borderies is a Single-Estate Cognac produced exclusively from grapes selected from the Camus vineyards. Spanning over 188 hectares, Camus owns the largest extension of vineyards belonging to one single producer within the Borderies Cru. As a result of the unique clay-limestone rich soils here, the land gives origin to the distinct characteristics of this VSOP, which reveals deep floral and spicy aromas.
Camus is a Cognac house that takes pride in embracing traditional strengths whilst remaining at the forefront of science in striving to reach new levels of intensity in the aromas of their Cognacs. The house has been independently operating since 1863 and has succeeded in upholding strong family values across five generations - all in quest of producing the utmost refinement when it comes to the production of Cognac.
Presentation of the bottle
Dressed in a contemporary bottle, Camus VSOP Cognac unveils a beautiful, consistent orange color with flashes of rich amber. The curvaceous shape of the bottle allows it to stand out amongst others in a Cognac collection and serves this Borderies VSOP well as a unique gift to a Cognac enthusiast.

Easy drinking. Optimum for the price
It's the optimum point for a $100 cognac. The nose might not express intense aromas but still has floral, orange, zest, and vanilla. Only the nose alone might be a little less than expected. But in the mouth, it's very smooth and very easy to drink with aromas of orange, floral, softwood, and...
Yummy
The nose has intense zesty orange, vanilla and a touch of banana. Plenty of concentrated orange on the palate as well. The zestiness continues. Spices come through at the end, with delightful complexity. I love this. It’s not multi-dimensional but the flavours are delicious.
Borderies Cognac really to try
First I read about the Borderies region as such and this caught my interest as many people focus on the Grande and Petite regions. This singe Estate from Camus ..... just go for. The nose gives floral aromas including violets and the orange zest together with vanilla and slight soft spices are around....
O Camus Cognac
