Description

Giboin Pineau des Charentes Blanc

A blend of 40% Ugni-Blanc, 50% Merlot and 10% Sémillion + Colombard this is a refreshingly light choice. Aged on its lees for 2 years, then aged in oak casks it has endured an expert process that makes it a fine choice to enjoy.

Produced in a production that has been taking place in the Giboin Cognac house for over 200 years, this blend has been expertly crafted to the highest quality. A sweet and light choice, it is a versatile beverage that would suit softer palates beautifully.

Presentation of the bottle

A golden design beautifully harmonises with the sheen of this beverage. Sophisticatedly understated, the simplicity of the bottle has a remarkable impact. Balancing tradition with modern chic, it is an understated masterpiece.

How to enjoy

Thanks to a refreshing lightness, the Pineau des Charentes Blanc is ideal as an Apéritif. Allow the sweetness to tease the palate and leave a succulent finish.

About Giboin Cognac

Giboin is an expert producer of both Cognac and Pineau de Charentes, with 60 acres (24 hectars) of vineyards in both the Borderies and Fins Bois Cognac growing areas of the Charente. This family run, traditional brand has a history stretching back to the early part of the nineteenth century, and exclusively produces a very limited amount of Cognac per year. Using predominantly Ugni Blanc grapes, but Merlot too, Giboin strives to remain committed to the methods used by the family’s founders, and for a small house curates a surprisingly versatile and wide range of Cognac and Pineau products.
