Domaine du Chêne Colombard Red Pineau

A warm, fresh and balanced pineau, the Domaine du Chêne Colombard Red is a wonderful selection to enjoy. A black merlot that appears visually as intense rosé, it is a pineau that captures attention from the first glance. Produced from clay-limestone and sandy soil, it’s a balance of earthy and rancio tones. Offering a fresh and fruity feel, it’s perfect for those that prefer a refreshing drink. Boasting melted tannins essence, it holds the depth of a high-quality Cognac.

This harmonious Cognac is the product of a house that knows how to balance tradition with contemporary chic expertly. Originating in 1865, the Domaine du Chêne house prides itself on quality and authenticity. Looking to innovate its vines to the highest potential, each creation is unique and memorable. Showcasing that brilliantly, this pineau is certainly one that stands out on the shelf. A true example of all that this Cognac house has to offer.

About Domaine du Chêne

Located at the heart of the Romanesque Saintonge province is Domaine du Chêne, which has remained a family estate for several generations since Jean-Baptiste Doussoux bought his first still in 1865.

The vineyard now covers 80 hectares growing several different grapes, including rare and old varieties like the Folle Blanche, among other classic varieties such as the Ugni Blanc.

The vineyards themselves are over 80 years old and today produce a range of bespoke products including their "Domaine du Chêne" range and Cognac "Jean Doussoux".
