Description
Braastad Pineau des Charentes Blanc
Made through the process of blending lightly fermented grape must, with two-year-old Cognac, then ageing for a further 24 months in the finest Limousin oak casks. It is thanks to this articulate process that the Pineau des Charentes Blanc offers a rounded and fulfilled taste. Beautifully balanced with a sweet charm, it is a beverage to be enjoyed by all.
Produced by a Cognac house that oversees every step of its Cognac creations, the Braastads are renowned for supremely superior processing. From harvesting grapes to maturing in humid cellars by the river Charente in the heart of Cognac, the Pineau des Charentes Blanc has been in safe hands from start to finish.
Presentation of the bottle
Balancing tradition, with contemporary chic, this bottle is both historic and elegant. With the Braastad branding proudly placed at its heart, the expertise of Pineau is instantly evident. Simple and understated with its gold and white design, it's the perfect feature to be placed in the centre of any dining table.
How to enjoy
Best enjoyed with a meal, on its own to allow the blend of flavours to embody in full harmony. Can also be savoured in a longer drink, such as a tonic, to create more of a linger. A simple, yet memorable post-dinner tipple.
About Braastad Cognac
In the heart of Grande Champagne in the village of Jarnac lies the impressive Chateau de Triac. The chateau is the home of Cognac Tiffon, to which the Cognac brand Braastad belongs.
Rubbing shoulders with other famous Cognac houses such as Bisquit or Courvoisier, the brand Braastad was created when a Norwegian named Sverre Braastad married into the Tiffon family.
Known for their devotion to the traditional Cognac producing methods, today the whole process is still carried out at the family premises, and Cognac Braastad’s products are renowned worldwide.
