Description

1719 Organic Pineau des Charentes Vintage 2005

Produced from 100% organically grown Ugni Blanc grapes, the 1719 Organic Pineau des Charentes Vintage 2005 is a single harvest vintage and a wonderfully sweet expression of the Premier Cru, exhibiting a well balanced, firm and refreshing acidity. This certified organic Pineau has been produced according to traditional distillation, ageing and bottling methods, receiving approval from Bureau Veritas Certification France SAS. As with all 1719 products, the grapes used to make this release have been cultivated exclusively in the family estate vineyards in the Grande Champagne region.

The name of 1719 Cognac has been taken from the very building that is the heart of the family estate. Founded by Pierre Phillipe Joubert, the family production of fine wines and spirits has continued to be adhered to for over four centuries. Back then, and still true today, 1719 Cognac is all about creating exceptional eaux-de-vie and Pineau des Charentes that showcase the sumptuous aromas which have made the Premier Cru synonymous with quality.

Presentation of the Bottle

Shown in a tall, elegant bottle, this expression is simplicity itself. The cream and gold colors on the label perfectly complement the liquid contained within.

How to Enjoy 1719 Organic Pineau des Charentes Vintage 2005

Like most Pineau de Charentes, this is best served chilled (8-10°C) as an aperitif. Serve in tulip glasses alongside hors d'oeuvres or simply on its own.
