1719 Organic Pineau des Charentes Vintage 2003

Produced according to the traditional distillation, ageing and bottling methods, this vintage is a certified 100% organic Pineau des Charentes, receiving approval from Bureau Veritas Certification France SAS. The Ugni Blanc grapes used to make the 1719 Organic Pineau des Charentes Vintage 2003 were cultivated exclusively in the estate’s family vineyards in the Grande Champagne region. As a single vintage release, it represents a stunning snapshot in time of the Premier Cru: the unprecedented heatwave that hit France in 2003 accelerated grape ripening and really shaped the vintage as a whole, giving an extraordinary aromatic richness to the Pineau des Charentes.

The name of 1719 Cognac has been taken from the very building that is the heart of the family estate. Founded by Pierre Phillipe Joubert, the family production of fine wines and spirits has continued to be adhered to for over four centuries. Back then, and still true today, 1719 Cognac is all about creating exceptional eaux-de-vie and Pineau des Charentes that showcase the sumptuous aromas which have made the Premier Cru synonymous with quality.

Presentation of the Bottle

Shown in a tall, elegant bottle, this expression is simplicity itself. The cream and gold colors on the label perfectly complement the liquid contained within.

How to Enjoy 1719 Organic Pineau des Charentes Vintage 2003

This expressive Pineau des Charentes is an ideal aperitif, served cold (8-10°C). It’s a great accompaniment to hors d'oeuvres or even served after dinner alongside fruit-based desserts.
