It is best enjoyed in a snifter or tulip glass, neat and preferably hand warmed to release the smoky, leathery aromas of its deep and complex bouquet.
An delicate yet stand-out decanter-esque bottle reminiscent of a classic cologne, the emblematic Hardy cockerel takes pride place on both the silver stopper and the intricate detailing on the label. Hardy Noces D’Or is my favorite so I decided to try Noces D’Argent since it was on sale here. This was my first order from Cognac Expert and I was pleased with the people and the Cognac. Cognac gets a 87 with a solid performance and the people get a 100. Thanks Cognac Expert.
The Grape varieties used are Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard, and is a blend with comprised of around twenty Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie. Jewel-like golden amber in the glass. Wonderful nose, raisin, tobacco, honey, that just keeps getting better. Slightly astringent, slightly fiery, massively indebted to its wine origins. Long finish, low in the palate, lingering sweetness.
This is the newest member of Hardy's Noces-range. It is around 25 years old with a blend of 55% GC and 45% PC. This cognac has a deep golden color, and it has large tears inside the glass.
