Omschrijving
An awardwinning VSOP Cognac aged far beyond the official requirement
Introducing the award-winning Domaine de Chateau Guynot VSOP Reserve N°17 Cognac, a rounded and pleasant Cognac that has been aged for at least four years in oak barrels, but we suspect it has been aged for far longer given the aromas and flavor - 17 years to be precise. A mature and full VSOP that can be enjoyed by types of Cognac drinker.
Situated between Saintes, a Gallic-Roman village and Royan is the Domaine de Chateau Guynot, the former home of the Marquis de Monconseil. The history of this Cognac house is still very much prevalent - the cooling room which dates back to the eighteenth century, stands at the heart of the domain in a wooded park.
In one of the four main Cognac terroirs, they grow Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes for their high-quality bottles of Cognac. The chateau distills their Cognac by the process of double distillation in traditional alembic stills. The aging process takes place in oak barrels, in the quietness of their cellars.
Chateau Guynot VSOP Réserve No.17 Awards
