DEAU Cognac

DEAU Cognac

Why Deau Cognac?

DEAU’s history can be traced back to the 17th century, when a young Louis Deau settled in the region of Cognac. It was here that the wine grower discovered the magical alchemy of the pot still and learnt the secrets of using this instrument to distill wine into Cognac. It might be hard to believe, given this century-old history, but DEAU has only recently started producing Cognac under its own label, previously selling their eaux-de-vie to other major players in the industry. Veronique Bru Legaret successfully turned the family brand into one of the coolest products on the market while still paying tribute to family traditions. We love their level of commitment and vision to make Cognac a contemporary spirit.
