Description

Rémy Couillebaud Napoleon Cognac

The Remy Couillebaud Napoleon Cognac is a wonderful choice for those who enjoy a slightly older Cognac - and one where you can truly taste the rancio. Offering exceptional value for money for such a quality, this Fins Bois delight is created solely from eaux-de-vie grown and aged from the house's own 33 hectares of vines. The youngest blend that makes up this Cognac is at least 15 years old, after a lengthy maturation process in old oak barrels.

A 100% Fins Bois offering with a fine aroma and a strong rancio and a beautiful structure.

The house of Remy Couillebaud prides itself in the traditional methods of creating its cognacs. With the in-depth know-how having been handed down over six generations, this is an artisan house of the highest degree. The family have been creating eaux-de-vie from the grape to the bottle since the mid-1800s - and their methods today remain almost identical to that of their forefathers. If Remy Couillebaud is a new Cognac, then the Vieille Réserve is a great place to start.

Presentation of the bottle

As with most of the Cognacs from this house, it's presented in a simplistic manner - in a traditional style bottle with a simple label. This is certainly a great staple Cognac that will grace the best of drink cabinets.

How to enjoy

With a lingering palate, this napoleon blend is best enjoyed in its purest form - neat, at room temperature. Serve as a digestive following a meal or impress guests with a Cognac aperitif on the rocks.
