Description
Raymond Bossis Napoleon: An Elegant Cognac with a Seductive Finish
The Raymond Bossis Napoleon Cognac is definitely one-of-a-kind and a rare gem. Be prepared to be seduced by its elegant and well-balanced palate, offering a tasting experience that you won’t soon forget.
Made with eaux-de-vie produced from grapes harvested in the low-lying area of the Fins Bois terroir, this Cognac is characteristically round and supple, with aromas of freshly squeezed fruit. The soil across the Fins Bois has a high percentage of clay and chalk (known as groies), producing a quality similar to Fine Champagne, but one which ages slightly quicker. This Napoleon-grade Cognac has been aged for over two decades in French oak, developing a deep red color and an exceptional finish.
Raymond Bossis is a family-run Cognac house that is committed to respecting the environment and seek to make the most of their thriving vineyards. Using traditional technologies and sustainable farming, they work to minimize the impact of pesticides on their grapes and eaux-de-vie, according to Optimus protocol. As a member of the Federation of Independent Winegrowers, the house of Raymond Bossis guarantees the involvement of the winemaker at all stages of production: from winemaking, in the cellar, harvesting the grapes and marketing. The estate offers a wide range of products ranging from natural grape juice to Pineau des Charentes, Charentais wines, sparkling wines and Cognacs of varying age categories.
Presentation of The Bottle

I have been trying out various Napoleon Cognacs. This seems like a good idea because their age is sufficient enough to develop good qualities, but generally their price is under most Hors D'age, Extras and XO's. I think that I am getting a good feel and familiarity with Napoleons. So, I wanted to...
