Exceptional Age From an Exceptional Cru: Francois Voyer Napoléon Cognac
The Francois Voyer Napoléon Cognac is a blend of 100% Grande Champagne eaux-de-vies, aged between 14 and 20 years. For their older blends, Voyer Cognac uses the high-acidity Ugni Blanc grapes which lend an exceptional minerality and complex flavor to the resulting eaux-de-vie. French oak barrels from the Limousin area or from the Bercée, Gâvre or Reno Valdieu forests are used for aging, in both damp and dry cellars to optimise the character of each individual cask.
The Chauchet Voyer family have been distilling and aging eaux-de-vie in oak barrels since the 1870s – for over five generations. Focusing on the Grande Champagne cru, they work with numerous winegrowers in the area, as the Foyer Domaine itself is a small-scale producer with only 28 hectares of land. They are, however, dedicated to maintaining a sustainable agriculture approach to protect biodiversity and public health and was one of the first 20 domains to obtain the High Environmental Value (HEV) certification.
House François Voyer was passed on to Cellar master Pierre Vaudon to carry on the work of generations and maintain the identity of Foyer Cognac. Today, this legendary brand can be found on over 30 countries around the world.
Presentation of the Bottle
The Francois Voyer Napoléon Cognac comes in a tall, slim bottle with gold foil. The package is completed by an elegant presentation box featuring the Francois Voyer emblem in gold.
How to Enjoy Francois Voyer Napoléon Cognac
With a minimum age of 14 years, this is a finely-aged blend that deserves time and attention. We recommend it neat or with a dash of chilled mineral water, served in a slim tulip glass. For an indulgent experience, pair with a cigar - or opt for a food pairing like stuffed pigeon or cherry-glazed lamb.

End of the line in this price range
You can buy outstanding cognacs such as Remy Martin, Auguste Meukow or Thomas Hine in local specialist shops (Cognac Expert, please excuse me, they are cheaper there). For producers who are not well-known outside of the production area, Cognac Expert is the right place for you; I've never heard of...
